In a press release today, Cryptic announced that Star Trek Online will be going into open beta testing January 12th through the 26th. Keys will be available on their website during those dates, and will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.
If you’re worried about missing your chance, those who pre-order from Amazon will be guaranteed an open beta slot (along with some in-game goodies) and shouldn’t have to worry about the inevitable rush.
Star Trek Online is currently in closed beta.
