Returning European LOTRO Players Offered Free Week

European fans of Lord of the Rings Online who are also fans of Free Stuff, rejoice.  In preparation for the newest LOTRO expansion, Siege of Mirkwood, Codemasters Online is offering a week of free play to all returning European players.  The event, dubbed Welcome Back Week, will take place on November 23^rd through the 30^th, the week prior to Siege of Mirkwood’s December 3^rd release date.

Any former subscribers will be able to log in their old accounts free of charge for the week, with all their old characters intact and ready to explore.  On top of the free play time, the good folks at Codemasters are also throwing a 25% experience boost to all players, both new and old, into the mix as well, so you’ll be able to make the most of your free week.
