EVE has the most awesome depth and challenge of any game I've ever played.
Eve Rules. I have played now for six years straight and it keeps getting better.
One persistent world, no "Shards" or "Servers" to coordinate with your friends when you want to play together.
I've been meaning to get back into EVE. But that never seems to happen. Or when I do, I lose focus after a month or so.
Then again that happens to me in every game…
Does the sound in the CCP music theme near the end count I wonder?
Us Aussies never get to enter these things. Sux Ballz
Sorry mate, but shipping packages to Australia is pretty pricey. We should get better at covering larger areas in the future though.

EVE should do interviews with more professional interviewers/websites. This interviewer is the best MMO Gamer has available? I'm not asking for Barbera Walters or Oprah but it shouldn't sound like the lead designer for EVE is visiting a highschool freshman class.
Disappointing.
They didn't talk about so much in the game. This was an ad for Eve Onlive and they didn't bring up the markets, invention, alchemy, the online community got a few sentences but where's the beef? They're changing Sov–duh. What else? I don't know why people even talk to CCP. You can get the same slim info from the dev blogs. And what the heck's this about shipping cost? That's weaker than lunar gravity.
Hi Mike,
Your feedback is appreciated, but it would be more helpful if you were more specific as to what we can improve.
How do you think can we be more professional in our interviews? How was the Noah's visit similar to visiting a highschool freshman class? And what questions would Barbara Walters or Oprah ask Noah that'd make you find the interview more interesting?
Sincerely,
Siam the Editor-in-Chief
Hi AndroidBoy420,
I'm sorry you didn't find the interview interesting. The interview was broad for a simple reason; our audience has a broader interest in the MMOG genre. Because we are not an EVE fansite, we did not delve into the nitty gritty details of EVE Online but covered areas which we think even non-EVE players would find interesting.
If there are specific questions about EVE that you would like answered, you are welcome to send them to podcast@mmogamer.com and we will see what we can do.
The reason we have interviews with devs directly is because, as in this case, we can ask the devs questions we want to ask, instead of hoping a future dev blog will answer them for us.
The shipping cost problem is very very simple actually. CCP provides us with the prize items but we, as in The MMO Gamer, will have to send out the prizes to each individual winner. Because we only have editors in Europe and the US, it would be too costly to send packages outside of these areas.
Thanks for you feedback!
Cheers,
Siam the Editor-in-Chief
Hi Siam,
Thank you for your mature response. I realize I was being a bit negative.
I haven't listened to it since I left for work this morning so I won't be too specific. The interviewer gave a negative impression almost like he needed to be moved to neutral territory to evaluate the game. For example, did he say SIXTY menus opened when he first started and it seemed really complicated to him? Honestly? I don't think there's more than 4 or 5, just enough to size and place them around the screen. That sounded biased to me. I believe that was an error to convey that to the audience as I found that even though I knew nothing I was able to start playing immediately mining ore and asking questions in the rookie chat. The only problem I encountered by just jumping in and playing is purchasing upgrades that I was not skilled enough to use there by learning about the skill system. I believe that would be any one's experience if a couple of hours are spent in the game with out delving into the documentation. Far from complicated, actually the opposite, I had live person to person help from the very minute I signed in.
(too long have to post again)
Would you agree that the interviewer seemed to be unprepared and flying by the seat of his pants in the interview?
It wasn't bad… I could spend as much time telling you what I got out of it , some good questions were asked. I do think a high school level public speaking course would improve the skills of the interviewer though. (no offense just a critique)
WELL I FUCKIN LIKED IT!!!!
You people are pathetic. Your complaining about a video-game getting publicity? Positive and all around good interview. We're gamers, we don't need Barbra Walters, or O-PRAHHHHHHHHHH……
What we need are the people here at MMOGamer to continue being spiffy and all around awesome.
Thanks for Interviewing Noah, it was nice to hear a little more from the Dev's, and thanks to that I'll be paying more attention to your podcast's.
Also…Lemons.
Uhg, the interview was just terrible.
And having the sound effect play /after/ the episode was over and the hosts had told everyone to write in was just mean… I approve of that.
LOL!

Just a not that I want to go out publicly. 7 weeks after the competition, and still no prize for me (I was one of the 10 winners). I've already e-mailed and recieved a reply from Siam, stating that the reason the prizes haven't been sent to the winners, is because CCP haven't sent the prizes to MMO Gamer. I've just quized CCP about this, though I'm not expecting much from CCP.
Might I request, staff of MMO Gamer, that you chase CCP up and post a quick update for all MMO Gamer followers to read, just incase people read this comment and interpret it as me insulting MMO Gamer?
We apologize for the delay, Katy. As Siam said, we are still to this date waiting for the prizes to be sent from CCP. We aren't quite sure what the delay is, but we've been trying to get it sorted out for the past several weeks. You know as much as we do at this point.
