For those interested in the free to play side of things, the popular turn-based Atlantica Online just got a little easier to jump into.  NDoorsGames is now offering a new “lite” client for the game, with a much smaller download size, to facilitate new gamers getting in the game.  The new client concentrates on the beginning levels of the game, roughly 1-20, with later level content streaming (hopefully) unnoticed in the background as the player goes about their normal questing/killing duties.

The new client clocks in at a relatively “lite” 678 megs, just over a third of the of the 1.85 gig full client.

It should also be noted that those gamers already established in the game and above level 20 are still better off using the full client.

Grab the new lite (or the full, for that matter) client here.
