Asheron’s Call: Ten Year Anniversary

Today marks the ten year anniversary for Asheron’s Call, one of the forefathers of the MMORPG genre.

Turbine plans to run a live event throughout the day to celebrate the milestone, which makes it an excellent time to take advantage of the 14-day free trial.  Take a nostalgic journey through the lands of Dereth, or give it a whirl for the first time.  After all, how often does an MMO make it into the double digits?

Turbine has also released a slew of new anniversary wallpapers, and is running a user-made video contest to celebrate.  Click here for details.
