Colony Studios Releases Video Previews of Universe Online

Colony Studios, who we did a Q&A with back in May, have just released a series of video previews for their upcoming scifi MMO Universe Online, which you can find over at their website:

Ordinarily, a company releasing new footage or screenshots, which happens on a daily basis, is not news.

What makes this the exception is that Colony Studios have only been in business since the end of last year, and Universe Online was only announced in April.

 When a new MMO startup company is just getting on its feet I don’t expect to see so much as a screenshot for at least a year and a half, let alone non-CG in-game video.

Either Colony Studios are liquid greased lightning in human form, or HeroEngine has the ability to shave an entire year and counting off of development time.

After BlizzCon, I’ll try and get a word with the CEO to ask him if it’s the former or the latter.
