Zu Online – First Video

The press release’s title was as this new item’s title is, “Zu Online – First Video” and I got excited. Despite the really bad pigeon English in the press releases, and it is very bad, I’m curious about this upcoming title as it seems to be a bit different to other MMOGs out there, and the idea of playing an immortal is intriguing. Of course we don’t have any real details of the game, just a few screenshots showing people floating on clouds in cell shaded graphics. I was hoping the first released video would help there a bit, unfortunately all it shows is that CGG have access to some good FMV producers (although the audio is pretty bad). Anyway if you’re interested in seeing a short piece of reasonable FMV take a look. The entire press release with link to the video is below, and trust me, this is one of the easier ones to read, they really need to get a decent localisation team, as it doesn’t bode well for the game in the English markets -

Zu Online is an elaborately and well-designed 3D MMORPG with a rich culture of immortals and knight-errants. It is a story about the immortals’ monkery and battles against the evil. Check it out in the first video trailer released by the official. Here is the URL for the video:
