Jumpgate Evolution announced, beta signups open

NetDevil, the developers of Auto Assault, Jumpgate and the high profiled LEGO Universe titles is apparently working on a Jumpgate sequal; Jumpgate Evolution. The official website is open and lets visitors see some screenshots as well as sign up to the beta. The short news article on the NetDevil website with the official announcement indicates that it might be a remake or expansion rather than a standalone sequal:
NetDevil announced today that we are working on a significant expansion to our flagship product: Jumpgate. The new product entitled Jumpgate Evolution features a new graphics engine, all new assets, more accessible game play and much more.
