There’s a new massively multiplayer jumping out of the water and into the nets of fishing fans everywhere. FishingChamp, which bills itself as the world’s first 3-D fishing massively multiplayer, just opened their official Web site today (June 6) on the same day they are starting their beta testing:
San Jose, CA June 5th, 2006 – FishingChamp announced that the official website (fishingchamp.gamescampus.com) has been launched today. Visitors to the website are able to view for the first time the computer graphics video and also the in-game video. The forum is also available for gamers to post comments and communicate with each other. FishingChamp will also be hosting some pre-closed beta contests and a complete description of each event and associated prizes are listed on the website as well.”The official launch of the FishingChamp website gives visitors a sneak peek into the world’s only fishing MMO”, said Mike Min, PM of FishingChamp.
Beta testers can download the beta client by pointing their browsers here.
It is unknown at this time when OneNet, the developer of FishingChamp, will launch the game.
