Nexon America announced today that its free to play dancing MMO, Audition, has reached 100 000 registered users in North America. The North American version of the game are only available to North American residents as Nexon licences the game from developers T3 Entertainment. Other countries in which the game is published by other publishers include several Asian countries and regions and Brazil.

The game is free to play but provides an income source for Nexon through micro-transactions for sale of in-game items such as sunglasses and other accessories for your avatar.

Nexon games are free-to-download at www.nexon.net and utilize an innovative cash shop system (micro-transactions), which offers players the option to use real currency to pay for game enhancements. In Audition, players can purchase in-game apparel and accessories that enable them to create unique identities. These features are purely optional, and players can preview items prior to purchase in virtual dressing rooms.

The Audition website can be accessed here, but requires Internet Explore.
