New Zone and Raid Content With Halas Reborn, 56th EQ2 Game Update

Sony Online Entertainment announced yesterday that their 56th Game Update for EverQuest 2 has gone live, allowing players access to a new zone, raid content and new ingame housing options. The Halas region is rebuilt based on a location of the same name from original game EverQuest.

Players logging in between the 25th and the 28th of this month can also get a bonus pet, the Frostpaw Kitten through the in-game marketplace.

The update includes:

• Two new high-level raid dungeons
• New Halas starting zone
• New Halas housing options
• Story Teller UI guide
• Exclusive login bonus item (available only between May 25, 2010 and May 28, 2010)
• Halas themed Marketplace items
• Multiple in-game events
