Funcom’s presentation of the quarterly report is out and there are a few tidbits of Age of Conan information to be found inside. Primarily, the report claims that Funcom saw a significant increase in revenues in the first quarter of 2009 ($7,7 million USD) compared to the same time period in 2008 ($0.9 million USD) and attributes the main reason for this increase to subscription and box sales revenues of Age of Conan.

However, the revenues for Q1 2009 are far below that of previous periods; $18 million USD in  Q3 2008 and $8.5 million in Q4 2008.

Other bits of information regarding Age of Conan is that the game currently has a team of 120 people, primarily in development, working on the game. The number excludes customer service.

The report also mentions that’s in store for the immediate future:

  • Change and improve item system – major change and improvement to RPG system.
  • Greatly expanded Guild and social features.

And in terms of content:

  • Tarantia Commons, outdoor playfield
  • 3 new dungeons
  • House of Crom
  • Rendering and graphical enhancements

There were no specifics of how well Age of Conan is doing in terms of subscriber numbers.
