Through a press release on the official website, MMO developers Red 5 Studios have confirmed major layoffs at the company. Phrased as a reorganization, the statement uses the change of direction as one of the reasons for the layoffs.
Red 5 Studios, Inc. is currently working on an unannounced massively multiplayer online game. Recently, the team formed around a new direction and took on additional investment from a strategic partner in the online games industry.
